The Knox Inter-faith Network has members from a variety of religions and faith communities. We meet to discuss matters of common concern and to provide opportunities for dialogue and understanding of each others’ faith, with the aim of promoting increased harmony and respect in our society. We also attend visits hosted by members at their places of worship, to understand the importance of these places.

The logo represents this activity and vision in two related ways:
  • The rainbow in the shape of a circle represents the full range of religions and faiths in our community. The Knox Inter-faith Network is most fully alive and empowered when all of these communities are present and active, with each of their perspectives adding to a whole that is made richer through the education, visitation and dialogue we pursue.
  • The joined hands represent our way of interacting: a willingness to meet, listen and learn in a spirit of friendship, openness and trust.
